Many Adivasi families live in isolated areas where access to markets or affordable clothing is scarce. Children often walk long distances to attend school or help their families, and adults work in agricultural fields and forests without proper footwear or protective clothing. This puts them at high risk for injuries, infections, and illnesses. The Riday Foundation seeks to address this urgent need by distributing essential clothing and shoes to tribal communities who otherwise have no means to acquire them.

Ensuring Dignity Through Direct Support

Through our partnerships with local organizations, schools, and community leaders, the Riday Foundation ensures that donations of clothing and footwear reach the people who need them most. Our approach focuses on:

Identifying Vulnerable Communities: Working with local Adivasi leaders to identify families in greatest need of assistance.
Collecting and Distributing Clothes: Organizing donation drives for new and gently-used clothing, as well as sourcing high-quality, durable footwear for children and adults.
Seasonal Distribution Drives: Conducting regular drives before winter and monsoon seasons to ensure timely support, with a special focus on school-going children and the elderly.
